Growing up in Colorado I spent most of my summers in Estes Park and hiking and backpacking in Rocky Mountain National Park. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Business Administration - Marketing I moved to Jackson, Wyoming to ski. I have been living there ever since.

I have always dabbled in art, I started out as an Art Major at CSU, ceramics at that time. while raising my two daughters I started painting. I began with watercolors, switched to acrylic and have finally found my medium - silk. My inspiration comes from all of the time I spend outdoors observing and photographing nature and wildlife. My day job is assistant to wildlife photographer Thomas Mangelsen. I have been lucky to travel the world with Tom. When I return home from a photo trip I am always excited to start painting scarves. Enjoy my work, enjoy wearing the scarves and stay tuned for what is next.
